Summer Plays and More!
Hello everyone,
Time for another update! I’ve got a lot of stuff going on this summer and into the fall and wanted to share with you all…
First off, I’m currently in two plays running in repertory this summer at California Theatre Center in Sunnyvale, CA. LIBERTY INN by Dakin Matthews, an American adaptation of a Carlo Goldoni comedy, in which I play Faber, a loveable-loser and servant of the inn, opens this Friday, June 13th and runs through Saturday, July 26th. THE MATCHMAKER by Thornton Wilder, an American classic, in which I play none other than Cornelius Hackl opens Friday, June 27th and runs through Sunday, July 27th. More information on these plays at www.ctcinc.org.
Coming up this fall is a project I’m truly excited about. I’ll be playing Scripps in the Bay Area Premiere of Alan Bennett’s THE HISTORY BOYS at New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco. This is an astonishing play and delightful comedy about a group of boys from Yorkshire, England who are applying to Oxford and Cambridge. In the process, they learn to question how history is written, the educational system, and the importance of seemingly useless knowledge. Also appearing in this play is my good friend from UCLA Chris Morrell! Runs September 19th through October 26th (my birthday!!). Check out NCTC’s website at www.nctcsf.org.
Lastly, I’m now on iTunes! Yup, you can now digitally download my latest CD of original songs “Chasing Hurricanes” for only $4.99 and have it on your iPod! Of course you can still buy a physical CD on Amazon and CDBaby. I make a profit either way, so help support independent artists everywhere by buying my music!
Have a wonderful summer and hope to see you at one of my shows…visit my website and myspace for the latest info!
